I am sure that every avgeek has at least one model plane at home. Usually they are made out of plastic which makes them look cheap. I used to have several models sitting on a shelf but I never really liked the look of them. They ended up retiring in a box in the basement.
Through my Crazy Aviator Squad I got to know the brand The “Wooden Model Company” which produces airplane models out of wood. You can personalize them with an engraving. I have now an A380 out of mahogany wood which looks very classy.
The First Aviation Watch

I was extremely surprised when I recently found out that one of my favorite brands Cartier built the first aviation wristwatch in history. The story behind the watch “Santos de Cartier” is iconic. In 1904, Louis Cartier granted the wish of famous Brazilian pilot Alberto Santos Dumont: to be able to tell time while in the air. Thus, one of the first wristwatches was created. The rounded angles of the dial, the seamless curve of the horns, and the exposed screws made for an iconic watch that would inspire countless reinterpretations for both men and women. I am very happy to add this watch to my collection. Its minimalist style and the extraordinary shape make an elegant timepiece everyone would be happy to receive.

A must for all Aviators: Aviator shades! The most popular ones are from RayBan which come in all different colors. But different brands now offer their interpretation of pilot sunglasses; for example the Chanel “Pilot sunglasses” with a dark blue and gold frame and blue lenses. Cartier also has a model called “C de Cartier” which fits into the “aviator sunglasses” category.
Custom Made Oil Painting

The company “Artminded” creates paintings tailored to your wishes. You can decide on the motive, style, color and size. The artists will create a unique art piece which will upgrade your interior design. I sent one of my favorite Uniform Instagram posts as reference to Artminded – this amazing painting came out of it. This definitely works as a present as well and I am sure you will blow the recipient’s mind with it. Keep in mind that it takes several weeks to have the oil painting produced for you.

Overnight in the cockpit

A must for every aviation fan: A overnight stay in the most extraordinary hotel built inside the most legendary airplane in the world. “Jumbostay” at Stockholm airport makes this possible. I had the chance to visit this retired Boeing 747 two times during a day stop. I have not had the chance to sleep on board it but I was able to get a tour through the entire airplane. They offer different room categories. You can even stay in the engines but the highlight is the suite inside the former cockpit. It is a dream come true. A gift card for an overnight stay in the Jumbo Hotel would definitely make your aviation buddy very happy.

Airline Seat Belt
Low Budget
I am sure you will make everyone happy with this present even though it is the least expensive one in this listing. The belt is made out of an original airplane seat belt buckle. This way your friend, the aviation fan, will be able to wear an original airplane part. I can assure you that he/she will be happy.
